Hi Liam, I really enjoyed reading your poems. You thought of some really interesting words for HANDBALL, especially domination. Is that poem with the bird a Calligram? Wow, I don't think I have seen any poems like that... it was really cool. I wonder how you did that?
Hi Liam, you've really explained your maths thinking in your slides, well done!
- Slides 11-13, remember that to compare fractions, we need to divide the circle into even pieces (like pizza slices). Let's have a think about 5/8 and 3/4. We can make equivalent fractions by multiplying the numerator and denominator by the same number. So 3/4 is the same as 6/8 if we doubled it. Which fraction is bigger?
- See if you can use your knowledge of equivalent fractions to solve slides 16-17.
- Slide 15: Your diagram is a very clever way to picture and solve the problem! If there were more than 15 monkeys, perhaps you could double the answer to get 24 bananas and 30 monkeys.
I like that you used tinkerCAD to illustrate a handball court! I use to love playing it as well!
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
